Libec Unveils the Q30B & Q50B: Next-Generation Tripods Featuring the
2026.09.04 update

Libec is proud to announce the release of the Q30B (75mm bowl) and Q50B (100mm bowl) tripod legs. Designed specifically for ENG, run-and-gun shooters, and one-man operations, these next-generation tripods are the ultimate solution for professionals who demand instant setups in time-critical environments.

Despite boasting a broadcast-grade payload capacity of 45kg / 99lbs, the Q30B and Q50B weigh in at an ultra-light 2.9kg / 6.4lbs and 3.0kg / 6.6lbs respectively, redefining the balance between heavy-duty ruggedness and extreme mobility. At the core of this design is the patent-pending "Quick Deploy System." By holding the carrying handle with one hand and simply moving the center "Deploy Ring" up or down with the other, users can simultaneously open or close the spreader and unlock the upper leg sections. This intuitive design eliminates all wasted motion, drastically accelerating your workflow from transport to deployment.

Engineered for the harshest conditions, the tripods underwent a rigorous one-year field-testing program by working professionals. Enduring prolonged use in the searing heat and blowing sand of the Arizona desert, every vulnerable component was thoroughly reinforced. The resulting dust-proof design ensures that the locking mechanisms remain completely unaffected by sand and grit, guaranteeing uncompromising reliability even in the most extreme weather.

Available as a legs-only configuration, these tripods come fully equipped with a mid-spreader and foot pads right out of the box (Note: Not compatible with ground spreaders or dollies). For scenarios requiring extra height, operators can easilypre-extend the lower sections using the standard screw locks, maintaining the lightning-fast deployment speed of the upper Quick Deploy System. To maximize rigging options, the bowl base features two sets of 1/4" and 3/8" accessory ports. While fully compatible with any standard third-party fluid head, pairing these tripods with Libec's NH40 (for the Q30B) or LX10 Head (for the Q50B) creates the ultimate camera support system for any fast-paced production.
Libec Announces the TH-X2: The 10-Year Bestselling Lightweight Tripod Evolves with Enhanced Rigging
2026.09.04 update

Libec is proud to announce the release of the TH-X2, an update to the TH-X, a bestselling tripod that has earned the absolute trust of videographers and professionals worldwide over the past decade.

Designed as a true evolution of its predecessor, the TH-X2 focuses on maximizing leg usability. While completely retaining the familiar height and smooth operational feel of the original, the new model now comes standard with a detachable, multi-angle carrying handle to reduce physical strain during transport. Additionally, the bowl base features two newly added accessory ports (1/4 in and 3/8 in), allowing users to smartly mount monitors, lights, and other essential gear. With the introduction of the TH-X2, these two highly requested features are now standard equipment across Libec's entire lineup of 65mm and 75mm video tripods.

The system maintains its ultra-lightweight profile at just 3.2kg / 7lbs and folds down to a remarkably compact diameter of 110mm / 4.3 in. Standing sharply apart from the influx of cheap, mass-market alternatives, the TH-X2 is built to Libec's uncompromising quality standards to deliver proven, long-lasting durability. By equipping a decade-proven classic with modern rigging capabilities and enhanced mobility, the TH-X2 brings even greater value to today's demanding production sets.
