IP Connectivity
The MPC-1 supports the following Internet Protocols: XC (Canon), VISCA over IP (Sony), and AW (Panasonic). This smart device enables the LX-ePed 2, LX-ePed 2 Studio, and LX-ePed PRO to be connected to IP over securely closed networks, such as a VPN, for remote operations. IP compatible PTZ controllers can raise/lower the connected electric pedestals with the joystick.
*Not all PTZ controllers support both Serial Communication and IP connection. Please check each PTZ controller specs before usage.
*For IP connection, please use a closed network with a strong security such as a VPN.

Serial Communication
The MPC-1 supports the following Serial Communications: NU (Canon), VISCA (Sony), and AW (Panasonic). Compatible PTZ controllers can raise/lower the connected electric pedestal's upper column with the joystick.

Original Control App for PC
The dedicated PC application "LX-ePed PC APP" provides even more optional settings including upper column speed adjustments and precise position presets. For serial communication, directly connect the MPC-1 to a PC via a USB cable. For IP, connect the MPC-1 to the internet via LAN cable.

Easy Settings
Since the MPC-1 includes an LCD monitor and easy operation buttons, various settings can be completed with the MPC-1 alone, without using a computer or other devices. The setting page is smart and simple, allowing a swift transition between protocols.
Stable Power Supply
The MPC-1 is especially designed to have a designated power source, not to be powered by the electric pedestals. This is because a separate power source will provide consistent voltage to the MPC-1, resulting in a strong and stable connection.

V-mount Battery Powered (Optional)
The MPC-1 can be powered by the included AC adapter, but also with the optional "VM-12V" that allows it to be operated by a V-mount battery at any location.
Emergency Operations
In case the included remote controller for the electric pedestals is not at hand, the MPC-1 can be used as a remote controller to raise/lower the connected electric pedestal's upper column.
