The Highly Evolved NH20 / NH40
To ensure reliable and long-lasting use in harsh operating environments, we have changed the materials of various parts and redesigned the internal structure. Durability during prolonged use has been improved, and the fixing force of the slide plate and the locking force of the pan and tilt have been significantly increased. Furthermore, the click feel of each drag dial has been enhanced, and has been visibility improved by adding indicator marks to the counterweight knob and drag dials.
Mobility and Light Weight
The NH series heads combine a lightweight build with a stepped counterbalancing system that allows for quick setup. The combination of this video head and the lightweight QL40C quick-lock tripod creates a synergy of enhanced mobility.
Operability with Precision
Thanks to especially skilled craftsmen in Libec Japan, we adapted an innovative design to maximize NX's performance. As result, a significant reduction in wobbling and backlash in pan and tilt movements is achieved and offers the best precision operability in its range by far.
Multi-step Counterbalance Mechanism
The NX series can support a wide range of camera configurations with a multistep counterbalance system that fits a variety of production styles. Users can select from 5 counterbalance steps/modes, including a zero "free" mode option, making it easy for speedy counterbalance setups.
Advanced Multi-step Drag Unit
Prioritizing operability, durability, and reliability, this drag system employs a multi-layered metal component. Compared to the low-cost plastic units commonly adapted by other brands, this mechanism offers smoother starts, suppresses backlash, and provides superior durability even after prolonged use. Using the finest silicone grease, it provides a premium feel and maintains consistent operation even in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +60°C / -40°F to +140°F. Unlike other products, there is no need to set the drag dial to zero for storage.
Accessory Port for Added Convenience
The base of the tripod has three sets of accessory ports with 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch threads, which are convenient for attaching accessories such as monitors and lights more stably.
Double-sided Serrations
Serrations are equipped on both sides of the head to accommodate an additional pan handle or other accessories.
Dual-head specification is available for both 75mm bowl and flat base tripods. The Dual-head is also compatible with sliders, skater dollies, and photo tripods.
The sliding plate can be attached and released with just one-touch. Easy and smooth settings in the field are easily achieved.
Highly Compatible Slide Plate
In addition to Libec’s TH and HS series, many other 75mm video heads and gimbals made from other manufacturers can also use this universal slide plate.
LED Bubble Level
The bubble level is equipped with an LED light to level a tripod in the dark.
Safety Design
With safety in mind, the tripod legs are carefully designed to prevent users from pinching their fingers when intentionally or unintentionally collapsing the tripod.
By removing the spacer of the bowl clamp, the length of the insertion thread is extended, offering more equipment that can be attached to the head.
Weight Hook
The equipped hook allows users to hang weights, which adds even more stability to the tripod in order to endure strong winds and withstand other situations where extra stability is needed.
